Design Roofing’s Second Annual Show Your Support Cancer Fundraiser

Design Roofing is proud to announce that our second annual Show Your Support Cancer Fundraiser event was a great success again this year. Once again held at Samz Pub and with well over 100 people in attendance we managed to reach our goal and raise $10,000 this year. The money will be donated to Colon Cancer Canada to help research a cure for the second most common cause of death from cancer.

Design Roofing began hosting this event last year when one of our long time employees and a member of the Design Roofing family was hit hard with cancer. We took the opportunity to rally the troops and show our support for a valued member of our team. We arranged a silent auction with amazing prizes, sold 50-50 tickets, raffle tickets, had a toonie toss, head shaving, door prizes and more. Just as last year, we brought back the fun to raise money to donate to a cancer charity of our choice.

This event means a lot to everyone here at Design Roofing and we are so grateful to all the wonderful people who helped make it possible. We rely heavily on the donations and support from our customers, suppliers and the community and none of this would be possible without each and everyone of you.  We look forward to growing the event and seeing everyone again next year!
