DESIGN ROOFING ANNOUNCES ITS ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES FOR 2007
VANCOUVER, British Columbia - January1, 2007 - Design Roofing is an active member of the following associations:
Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia
RCABC is an association of professional roofing contractors, manufacturers and suppliers who are dedicated to the promotion and protection of the public’s interests in everything that relates to roofing.
The Association ensures that members have access to information on the latest advances in the industry, both on current roofing practices and on today’s materials. The membership criteria ensure that all members of RCABC meet or exceed our code of ethics and professionalism. RCABC contractors, manufacturers and suppliers must participate in a program of continuous professional development regarding new materials and roofing techniques.
Vancouver Regional Construction Association
The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) represents more than 630 general contractors, specialty trade contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and professionals active in the multi-billion dollar construction industry in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. VRCA members are involved in all size operations from multi-national corporations to small owner/operator businesses.
International Facility Management Association
IFMA is the largest and most widely recognized professional association for facility management, supporting more than 18,500 members. The Association's members are represented in 125 chapters, 15 councils and one Special Interest Group (SIG), in 60 countries worldwide. Globally, IFMA certifies facility managers, conducts research, provides educational programs, recognizes facility management degree and certificate programs and produces World Workplace, the largest facility management-related conference and exposition.
Condominium Home Owners Association
The Condominium Home Owners' Association (CHOA) is a non-profit association that has been assisting strata owners throughout British Columbia since 1976. CHOA membership is comprised of over 1,500 strata corporations, representing over 55,000 units.
RCI, Incorporated is an international association of professional consultants, architects, and engineers who specialize in the specification and design of roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems.
The Independent Contractors and Business Association
The Independent Contractors and Businesses Association (ICBA) is the voice of the Open Shop construction industry in British Columbia and is totally supported by over 700 member companies. ICBA monitors and lobbies all levels of government to ensure current and future legislation reflects the needs and wishes of the open-shop sector and its employees.
